ANPPCAN Cameroon Was Founded In 2008 And Legalised In 2009 In The North West Region Of Cameroon With Headquarters In Bamenda. Our Mission Is To Enhance Partnership With Others, The Prevention And Protection Of Children From All Forms Of Maltreatment, Thus, Ensuring That The Rights Of Children Are Realized.

African Network for the protection and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) Cameroon chapter was established in 2008 and authorized by the government of Cameroon in April 2009 with registration No. NW019 /E.29 /1111 / VOL.8 /APPB.
WHAT WE DO
ANPPCAN Cameroon is working tirelessly with other stakeholders such as the government,international and national NGOs, faith and community based organizations, media, professional schools and universities, and private sector in protecting children and combating violence in all its forms.

EDUCATION SUPPORT TO ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN THE NORTH WEST REGION
School reopening for the academic year 2020/2021 in the North West and South West regions has been encouraging. This is due to the fact that some stakeholders advocated for school resumption. With this call for resumption, most parents are not able to provide basic education needs for their children.
PROMOTING CHILDRENS’ RIGHTS TO EDUCATION
Thirty (19 girls 11 boys) orphans and vulnerable children affected by the ongoing crisis received school materials including bag packs, exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers.
AWARENESS ON COVID-19
ANPPCAN Cameroon in its efforts to ensuring the protection of children amidst the covid-19 in Cameroon, developed a rapid response project in the North West Region of Cameroon to support some learning spaces that were operational.
